Indian ferro chrome export prices to China remained stable at 83 cents/lb CNF w-o-w, supported by unchanged Mar’25 tender prices. However, demand remained weak due to continued weakness in stainless steel prices. Offers for Japan also remained stable w-o-w at 90 cents/lb CNF with a slight drop of 1 cent/lb. Market participants seem to be closely monitoring European benchmark prices for the next quarter.
