According to the Indian customs, the country has witnessed no change on monthly basis in its ferroalloy exports.
In Sep’17, India exported a total of 0.18 MnT Ferro Alloys, against 0.18 MnT in Aug’17. However, on yearly basis, there has been a substantial increase of 38% Y-o-Y in its export volume, which stood at 0.13 MnT in Sep’16.
Sub-Commodity Wise
Ferro Chrome exports by India has registered an increase of 14% M-o-M at 0.08 MnT in Sep’17 against 0.07 MnT in Aug’17. While Silico Manganese exports remain unchanged at 0.07 MnT and Ferro Manganese recorded a decrease of 0.01 MnT in Sep’17 to 0.03 MnT against 0.04 MnT in Aug’17.

Major Importers
China remained the largest importer of Indian Ferro Alloys at 0.04 MnT in Sep’17, witnessing an increase of 33% M-o-M. South Korea and Japan, on the other hand, imported a similar quantity at 0.02 MnT and registered no change on monthly basis.
