India: FACOR’s chromite ore production rises 70%, y-o-y, in FY’22

FACOR’s chrome ore output in FY’22 reached nearly 250,000 t, up 70% y-o-y from 147,400 t in FY’21 due to continuous operations and improved productivity at its Ostapal and Kalarangiatta mines. Moreover, improved operational efficiency at its charge chrome plant led to a 10% rise in ferro chrome production at 75,300 t on a yearly basis in FY’22, according to company sources.
