Essar Steel has released an invitation for potential mine owners and producers for 3 MnT Haemetite Iron ore lumps’ supply for a period of 1 year on FOBST/CFR basis.
Essar Steel India, one of the leading steel manufacturers, has a fully integrated steel plant of around 10 MnT pa capacity at Hazira, Gujarat in West Coast of India. The total requirement of Iron ore lumps at its integrated plant is around 3.6 MnT pa.
In order to meet the requirement of Steel plants, Essar Steel has invited reputed mine owners and producers to supply Haematite iron ore lumps for one year, conforming to the following specification:

The delivery will start from April’15. Prices will be quoted on FOBST/CFR basis in USD for each selected grade of Iron ore.
Bidders should provide Iron ore’s annual production & sales detail in MnT pa during last three preceding years. They should also mention total proven reserves of Iron ore, mining procedure, loading port details.
Last date for bid submission will be 15 Jan’15, at 17.00 hrs.
