India: ESL hikes long steel prices by up to INR 1,500/t ($17/t) for early-Mar’25

ESL Steel Ltd. has increased long steel prices by up to INR 1,500/t ($17/t) for early-Mar’25, sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices are as follows:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 56,000/t ($641/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 55,500/t ($635/t)

Prices are landed NCR, excluding GST at 18%.
