India: ESL hikes long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t)

ESL Steel Ltd. has increased long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t), sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices are as follows:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 51,500-52,000/t ($616-622/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 57,000/t ($682/t)

Prices are landed NCR, excluding GST at 18%.
