India: ERW pipe prices rise on increasing raw material costs

ERW patra pipe prices edged up by INR 500/t in Raipur and INR 700/t in Mandi Gobindgarh markets respectively on 31 Dec’21, as per SteelMint assesment. Current offers for base grade ERW pipe (41- 60 OD) are assessed at INR 49,500/t exw-Raipur and INR 51,700/t exw-Mandi. SteelMint reported pipe prices in Raipur at INR 47,900/t last week. Prices do not include GST at 18%. “Sales have picked up in the market”, said a Mandi-based trader.
