India: ERW pipe prices increase on surging demand

ERW patra pipe prices increased by INR 400/t in the Raipur market on 31 Jan’22. Current offers for base grade ERW pipe (41-60 OD) are assessed at INR 54,400/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, pipe prices are assessed at INR 55,000/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab – unchanged d-o-d. SteelMint reported pipe prices in Raipur at INR 52,100/t last week, up INR 2,300/t w-o-w. Prices exclude GST.
