ERW patra pipes price inched down by INR 300/t w-o-w in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, while prices in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, remained stable w-o-w. Base-grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are at INR 44,300/t exw-Mandi and INR 41,700/t exw-Raipur on 16 Aug’24. Prices exclude 18% GST. Prices dropped amid decline in finished steel demand and declining raw material prices.
