The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 12,000 t of iron ore fresh fines (Fe 63%) from its Bolani mines in Odisha on 22 Apr’25. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 5,500/t against the base price of INR 5,250/t. Price is on ex-mines basis and includes royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
