- ESL Steel (Electrosteel Steels), an integrated mill located in Bokaro, Jharkhand has concluded a tender for 1,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 13 Jul’22.
- The bid prices in the tender were reported at around INR 48,400/t exw.
- Pig iron prices remain strong on strengthening steel prices. Pig iron prices in Durgapur rose by INR 2,000/t w-o-w to INR 48,000-48,500/t exw.
