- Electrosteel conducted an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 19 Apr’22, which was concluded at INR 60,700-61,000/t ex-plant. Bids remained firm as against an auction conducted yesterday for same quantity.
- Domestic pig iron prices remain strong on healthy export orders and rebounding coal and coke prices. Steel grade pig iron offers in Durgapur stood at INR 61,000-61,500/t exw today, up INR 200/t d-o-d.
