Eastern Coalfields Ltd (ECL) will offer 461,000 t of non-coking coal in its auction on 7 Aug’25, covering grades G4, G5, G6, G11, and WIII. In the last auction on 23 Jul’25, ECL sold 106,100 t with an average bid of INR 4,929/t. Strong demand was seen for high-CV coal, especially G4; 84,150 t of this grade were sold at INR 4,976/t.
