India: ECL, SECL announce auctions for over 1.2 mnt of coal in Aug’25

Eastern Coalfields Ltd (ECL) will hold an auction on 13 Aug’25, offering 214,700 t of non-coking coal in grades G3, G4, G5, G6, and G12.
South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) will conduct its auction on 16 Aug’25, offering 989,000 t across grades G5, G6, G7, G8, G9, G10, G12, and SC II, catering to varied industrial and power sector needs.
Overall, over 1.2 mnt will be auctioned.
