Eastern Coalfields Ltd (ECL), has successfully carried out tender process for sale of Chinakuri and Gopinathpur coal projects under the abandoned mines scheme. The mining contract for Chinakuri was awarded at a revenue share of 8%, while that for Gopinathpur at 4.59%. Both these projects will fetch ECL a combined coal production of 30.43 mnt over a span of 25 years.
