Iron ore pellet prices in West Bengal’s Durgapur have moved down this week due to bearish market sentiments. SteelMint’s current assessment for Durgapur pellet (Fe 63%) stands at INR 15,100/t, down by INR 150/t against the previous assessment on 25 Jun’21. Buyers said that demand remains weak at current offers and trading seems to have slowed down due to falling conversion spreads. P-DRI prices in Durgapur have declined by INR 1,200/t w-o-w.
