The IF route rebar market remained dull owing to weak sentiment in different regions. Lack of buying enquiries and lower transactions in the spot market were observed today. Correction in billets prices resulted in rebar traders being less active in procuring material at current price levels. Manufacturers faced selling pressure and offered tradable discounts as per the inventory level they hold, which vary across regions.
