Amid silent demand, Indian finish long steel market maintain stability with marginal price change of INR 100-300/MT on Wednesday.
The prices fluctuation is in line with subdued trades amid volatility in Billet prices.
Currently, 12mm rebar prices in Mumbai, Raipur and Hyderabad stood at around INR 33,800/MT, INR 32,800-33,000MT and INR 34,000/MT respectively. All prices are basic & ex-works.
One of the manufacturer in Central India, Raipur with the rebar production of 400-500 per day stated that, there is no major decline in the demand and have advance bookings for coming 7-10 days.
He further added that the major issues faced by the re-rolling millers are the transportation where in there is shortage of vehicle to supply material to other states.
