Domestic thermal coal prices in reseller’s market remained largely unchanged on w-o-w basis. The average weekly price of GCV 4500 kcal/kg run of mine (ROM) coal in Wani, Maharashtra, last week was assessed at INR 11,634/t, up INR 184/t w-o-w. Prices were stable amid the plunge in imported coal prices due to reduced European demand and Covid lockdowns in China.
