Domestic coal prices were stable w-o-w, with 5,000 GCV at INR 6,350/t and 4,500 GCV at INR 5,250/t ex-Bilaspur. In the latest SECL auction, while limited quantities were offered, there was active buying, pushing bids higher as traders held low stocks. SECL has also withdrawn the grade guidelines issued in October. The next SECL auction on 20 Nov’25 will offer 784,000 t across grades G3-G9 and G11.
