India: Director of Mines allows exemption of iron ore stacking to Serajuddin Mines

Odisha’s leading merchant miner – Serajuddin is to be allowed an exemption from stacking and sampling, states a recent letter issued by the Director of Mines letter to the Joint Director in Joda. However, the royalty at the highest grade, the additional account (Final Price Offer-premium) payable by the lessee shall also be calculated on the basis of the average sale price of the highest grade of mineral as published by the Indian Bureau of Mines for the State of Odisha for the month of dispatch. The miner has an EC limit of 15.15 mn t pa.
