India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has extended the deadline for submitting certain documents related to the safeguard investigation into imports of “non-alloy and alloy steel flat products”. Interested parties have been given a deadline of 22 Jan’25 to submit their EQR/IQR/UQR/EIQR documents, with no further extensions allowed. The investigation seeks to protect India’s steel industry from harm due to surging imports.
