- Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%), prices surged up to INR 800/t and 5,500 t deals were concluded between INR 29,800-30,000/t exw against offers at INR 30,500/t exw on 30 Nov’22.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices increased by INR 900/t & about 2,500 t deals were confirmed between INR 30,900-31,000/t exw.
- Spot buying of sponge iron continued to be robust, supported by India’s semi-finished and finished steel movement.
