India’s Ministry of Defence has floated a purchase tender for 130 t of low carbon ferro chrome (Cr-60%, C: 0.05% max, size: 25-100 mm) for its Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (Midhani) unit. The last date for bid submission is 2 Aug’24 and the bid-offer is valid for 30 days from the date of the auction. Ferro chrome prices were assessed at INR 108,600/t exw-Jajpur on 19 Jul’24.
