India’s Ministry of Defence has floated a purchase tender for 100 t of low-carbon ferro chrome (Cr: 60-75%, C: 0.1% max, size: 10-100 mm) for its Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (Midhani) unit. The last date for bid submission is 19 Jul’25, and the bid offer is valid for 30 days from the date of the auction. India’s low-carbon ferro chrome prices were assessed at INR 198,300/t exw-Durgapur on 10 Jul’25.
