India: Dalmia Cement raises Chinnakommerla expansion capacity to 9.60 mnt/year

The government has approved 101 hectares for Dalmia Cement’s integrated cement plant expansion at Chinnakommerla, with the proposed capacity revised upward from 7.23 mnt/year to 9.60 mnt/year. Construction is scheduled to commence in July 2026 and continue through December 2027, with machinery erection planned for completion by November 2027. Trial production is targeted for November-December 2027, followed by commercial production from January 2028.
