Cyclone Gulab, which made a landfall in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, has resulted in severe waterlogging at Gangavaram and Vizag ports, disrupting portside operations. Traders expect the disruption to continue for the next three days at Gangavaram port, further raising the prospect of a rise in portside South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal prices, which were last assessed at INR 11,900/t.
