India’s production of crude steel during Apr-Jun’20 was recorded at 15.867 mn t, a decline of 43.1% on year, as per JPC report. Total finished steel production at 12.544 mn t marked a decline of 52.7% on y-o-y basis. Finished steel consumption was 10.694 mn t during the quarter – a decline of 56.8% on year.
