NMDC Steel Limited, Nagarnar, auctioned 500 t of crude coal tar on 23 Dec’25. The entire volume was sold at a weighted average price of INR 39,500/t ex-works against a base price of INR 39,000/t. Auction prices increased sharply by INR 7,700/t compared with the previous auction held on 26 Nov’25, reflecting strong buyer participation and demand, supported by tightening availability.
