CRCA busheling scrap prices inched up INR 400-500/t today on improving semi-finished steel prices, especially in north and west India, whereas prices in the southern region stayed firm. Scrap movement in south India was disturbed amidst heavy rainfall and the induction furnace units held their bids amidst volatile sentiments in the market. The current scenario may weigh on scrap offers in the Chennai market, trader sources informed.
