CRC scrap prices remained rangebound with nominal changes of INR 100-300/t across scrap-based markets on 31 Aug’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 39,400-39,800/t at Mandi Gobindhgarh, at INR 36,300-36,700/t in Chennai, and INR 37,400-37,800/t in Jalna, Maharashtra on a DAP basis, excluding GST, trade participants informed. However, a few bids fluctuated by INR 300-400/t, particularly in the western region.
