CRC scrap prices remained rangebound across major markets on 6 Sept’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 39,800-40,200/t at Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are at INR 36,500-36,800/t in Chennai and at INR 38,000-38,300/t in Jalna, Maharashtra. Turning scrap offers, however, have been reported at INR 33,000-33,300/t and INR 31,900-32,300/t in Jalna and Chennai, respectively, on a DAP basis, excluding GST, market participants informed.
