CRC scrap prices inched higher in major markets on 13 Sept’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are at INR 40,300-40,700/t at Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are at INR 37,200-37,600/t in Chennai (for bundled material) and at INR 37,700-38,100/t (loose/bundled material) in Maharashtra’s Jalna. Turning scrap offers are reported at INR 32,900-33,300/t and INR 32,300-32,600/t in Jalna and Chennai, respectively, on a DAP basis, excluding GST.
