CRC scrap prices saw marginal improvement across major markets on 4 Sept’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 40,000-40,300/t at Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are at INR 36,400-36,700/t in Chennai and at INR 38,200-38,500/t in Jalna, Maharashtra. Turning scrap offers, however, have been reported at INR 33,100-33,400/t and INR 32,000-32,300/t in Jalna and Chennai, respectively, on a DAP basis, excluding GST, market participants informed.
