CRC scrap prices witnessed a nominal correction of INR 200-300/t in major scrap-based regions such as the markets in north and west India, while prices in markets in the southern region remained rangebound today. Overall correction in semi-finished steel prices limited buying interest from induction furnace mills resulting in minor adjustments on a day-to-day basis. Current CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 40,500-40,800/t in Mandi Gobindhgarh, INR 37,100-37,500/t in Chennai, and INR 37,900-38,400/t in Jalna, all on DAP basis, excluding GST
