The country’s largest four-wheeler manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, conducted an auction today for around 4,000 t of CR busheling prompts scrap (low manganese) from its Gurgaon facility. According to latest updates, the entire quantity was booked at INR 46700-46,750/t exw, up approximately INR 2,300/t ($29/t) compared to the previous month’s auction price. Notably, the company sold a total of 1,457,861 vehicles in FY’22, lower by 6.7% y-o-y.
