India: CR busheling prices jump INR 2,400-2,600/t at leading automaker’s auction

India’s leading four‑wheeler manufacturer successfully auctioned 5,000 t of CR busheling scrap (low manganese) from its Gurgaon, Haryana, facility on 27 Apr’26. Winning bids reached INR 37,770-37,970/t ex‑works, up INR 2,400-2,600/t from the 27 March’26 auction, highlighting robust scrap demand amid persistent material shortages in northern India’s steel hub. BigMint assessed the weekly average prices of CR busheling scrap in Ludhiana at around INR 39,533/t DAP.
