Copper wire rod market witnessed diverse prices by secondary and primary manufacturers in the northern region. Medium-scale manufacturers cut their prices marginally by INR 1,000/t to INR 799,000/t whereas primary producers raised their offers by as much as INR 14,000/t to INR 859,000/t, for size – 8mm, exw Delhi and excluding GST. Increase in future contract prices at the global exchanges like LME, SHFE, and MCX extended support to India’s domestic prices.
