India copper cathode production rose by 5.5% to 46,000 t in May’22 as against 43,600 t in Apr. Notably, India copper cathode production rose 62% on the year as against 28,339 t in May’21.
Hindalco was the major copper cathode producer in May with total production at 33,000 t, followed by Sesa Sterlite Ltd. (SSL) at 13,000 t.
