India: Coking coal vessel arrival falls by 19% m-o-m between 1-20 July

Coking coal vessel arrival into India is expected to be at around 2.96 mnt between 1-20 Jul’22, down by 19% against the same period in June. The fall can be attributed to weak demand in the domestic steel market post-export duty imposition. SAIL emerged as the top receiver of coking coal at 0.51 mnt in the period under review.
