As per market sources, the average bid price for domestic coal at the ongoing Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (ECL) auction has risen by INR 3,000-4,000/t. The total quantity put up for auction was 137,000 tonne. The current bid for Bansra mine coal is heard at INR 12,340/t, while for Jambad UG material the bid price is at INR 11,490/t. For Khaskojaro coal, the price stands at INR 11,000/t. Prices exclude taxes and duties.
