The Ministry of Coal (MoC) has allocated another two coal blocks- Tosikud-II in Jharkhand and Gondbahera Ujheni East in Madhya Pradesh – under the second tranche of commercial mining auctions. These were allocated to the preferred bidders after a single bid received against them in the second attempt of sale. With this, the second tranche of auction has finally drawn to a close where a total of 12 blocks were sold.
