Coal freights to India were mixed w-o-w on 20 Jan, with marginal sentiment improvement on higher fixtures and firmer bunker prices, but the absence of fixtures since the beginning of this week has clouded the outlook.
- Hay Point-Paradip: Freights stood at $13.8/dmt (+$0.1/dmt w-o-w)
- RBCT-Paradip: Rates were assessed at $13.3/dmt (+$0.6/dmt w-o-w)
- East Kalimantan-Navlakhi: Freights were assessed at $10.8/dmt (-$0.1/dmt w-o-w)
