India: CIL touches 600 mnt coal dispatch mark in ongoing fiscal

Coal India Ltd. (CIL) has crossed 600 mnt of coal dispatches in the ongoing fiscal (FY’22). The milestone was attained only once before when it dispatched 608 mnt in FY’19. As on 1 Mar’22, cumulative dispatches were recorded at 601.93 mnt, up 17% y-o-y. With almost a full month to go before the current fiscal comes to a close, the state-run miner is set to record a new high in dispatches.
