Coal India Ltd is expected to restart the fifth tranche of auction for grant of linkages to the non-power sector after the process was deferred in view of difficult market conditions, as per CoalMint reports. In the current phase, sales to the sponge iron and steel sectors have been successfully concluded. For the remaining round of auctions, bidders from the cement, power and other sectors are invited to register on the MSTC website from 7 June’21 onwards.
