CIL has exceeded its annual target, supplying 610.8 mnt to thermal power plants, achieving this milestone just four days before the closure of FY’24. This marks a 5% increase from last fiscal’s 581.5 mnt. Daily supplies average 1.76 mnt. This is the second consecutive year of surpassing targets, with FY’23 offtake reaching 586.6 mnt against a commitment of 565 mnt.
