India: Buyers book over 70,000 t of iron ore from NMDC Chhattisgarh

On 14 Oct’24, 72,900 t of iron ore were booked at NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auctions.

• Bacheli: 21,500 t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) booked at INR 8,592/t against base price INR 6,780/t and 38,500 t fines (Fe 64%) booked at base price INR 5,050/t.
• Kirandul: 12,900 t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) booked at base price INR 5,520/t.

Prices were on FOR basis and included royalty, DMF, and NMET.
