NMDC had an auction for 86,000 t of Baila fines (Fe 64%) and 12,000 t of lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) from its Bacheli mines in Chhattisgarh on 26 Jun’24. According to the sources, entire quantity of fines got booked at base price of INR 5,660/t while lumps got booked at INR 7,010/t against the base price of INR 7,000/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF and NMET.
