Vedanta Ltd conducted an auction for 12,000 t of iron ore lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 57%) from its A. Narrain Mines in Karnataka on 16 Apr’24. According to sources, the entire quantity got booked at INR 5,010/t against the base price of INR 4,500/t. Notably, bid prices were higher by INR 510/t. Price is on ex-mines/plot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
