The Steel Users Federation of India (SUFI), in association with BSE, will launch steel billets futures trading on the BSE platform from 22 Jul’21. Earlier it was scheduled to be launched on 13 Jul but had been postponed subsequently.
The billet futures contract will offer traders an additional avenue (currently only MCX offers steel futures contracts) and offer all stakeholders effective risk-hedging instruments using the latest technology and risk management framework.
The trading time for the billets futures contracts will be from 9 am to 11:30/11:55 pm from Monday to Friday. The price quote as well delivery point is Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
